Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Master's Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender categories). Candidates appearing in the final year of their Master's degree or awaiting results can also apply.
Age Limit
For JRF: Not more than 30 years as on the first day of the month in which the examination is concluded (relaxations for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates as per Govt. rules). For Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

How to Prepare for UGC NET
1. Understand the Syllabus & Exam Pattern: Thoroughly review the detailed syllabus for both Paper I and your chosen Paper II subject. Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and time allocation.
